“Sport in my life”

On 31.03.25, we conducted an English language quest “Sport in my life”. Students of groups 1RE and 1TC took part in it. First, in English, in a playful way, the students told and demonstrated their favourite sport in such a way that the audience could guess what sport they were talking about. Then they read out the name of the sport or sports game from the cards and briefly described it.

In a dialogic form, they interviewed each other about their favourite sport. It was interesting to work with the Wordwall platform. The students also competed in the team game ‘Give correct answers’, where they had to answer questions about sports, correctly assigning them to the locations “Winter-Summer Sports”, “Indoor-Outdoor Sports”, “Individual-Team Sports”. The teams “White Dream”, “Grizzlies”, “Kings of Fun”, and “Super Stars” competed with each other.  Later, in the gym, the participants made commands in English and recreated sports moves, demonstrated the equipment of their favourite sport, competed in tug-of-war, jumped with a ball and rope. In the end, they completed a search quest called “Listen, Find and Demonstrate”. Physical education teachers helped to organise competitions between the teams. So, English and sport go together. English and Sport are together forever.
